Cheney engaged in misprisonment of the felony when he touted the leak as "the best information available" on the fictitious Saddam-UBL entente cordiale. 4 ) Bush issued an executive order in March of 2003 permitting Cheney to leak classified information . No president has the authority to issue an executive order ordering subordinates to committ crimes. 5 ) The entire White House Iraq Group was an illegal leaking rogue agit-prop disinfo shoppe. All the lies routed through Judith Miller involved disclosure of classified information. That this information was fraudulent does not excuse the crime of " transferring national security and defence secrets" to those not entitled not to receive it.
