Students who report incidents of bullying usually get told to get over it. (thus the administrators enable the bullies)
typically it's a group picking on one lone victim. victim tries to report incident and faculty hears the group deny allegations.
"We didn't jump him; he attacked the six of us."
With cameras and recording, incidents can be documented via the unbiased videocam.
I feel that cameras on public roads, public schools, public access malls, are not a violation of my freedoms.

I do...
Because its a violation of the 4th Amendmendment.
Not only that...but those cameras can be subject to abuse and can criminalize not only students..but teachers as well.

Cameras in the schools becoming routine as backpacks. www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/11/17/eveningnews/main584085.shtmlFor better or worse, as CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann reports, in American schools security cameras are now almost as routine as backpacks. And what really goes on during the school day is becoming an open book. Walk into any classroom in Biloxi and your every move is being watched. In fact, in all of America this school system may be unique. There's a camera in every classroom. SOUNDS LIKE A FREE SOCIETY TO ME. Sends a strong message to the youth. Remember kids......
