We've had 53 straight days with snow on the ground in Denver and the front range. Started I think the 19th of Dec.. 63 days is the record, we still have on average at least six inches all over.I still have several areas with 2-3 feet in my yard.That and NYC has something like 120"+. Makes you wonder about any type of "GLOBAL WARMING"at all...

Just to clarify my post, we did not have 53 straight days of snow, just that we had several rather large snow storms and the snow from those is still here 53, (well 54 now) days later. This is not very typical of CO. weather, but it does happen. More typical would be for it to snow 6 inches by noon,clear up, hit 50 by 3 and melt everything off..
