Visual Psy-Ops On TV
And In Print
From Tony Castelluci

In James Cameron's film, Terminator 2, there is a sequence when a semi-tractor, (driven by the bad guy), plunges off a bridge into an empty canal to chase the good guys. In post production for the film it was decided the the original footage of this stunt had to be digitally manipulated because the semi was coming from left to right, as opposed to right to left. According to Cameron right to left in psychologically more menacing because this is the opposite direction of reading, and feels oddly unsettling to people. The digital artists at I.L.M. even flipped the letters of the semi, selling the illusion completely that the truck was shot coming from right to left.
This right-to-left visual is also used by comic book artist and illustrators to make a villain appear more menacing.
Why is this information important? It is important because I have noticed a disturbing trend in the New Orleans newspaper the Times-Picyunne. (A paper I happen to glace at occasionally at work to see what THEY want people to believe.).
Watching the new paper's front page previous to the election in Louisiana I noticed at trend to always picture Bobby Jindal (R) looking from left to right and Kathleen Blanco (D) from right to left. For the most part Jindal was picture smiling and with people around him smiling and looking at him in admiration. Blanc was always pictured full face close up, (psychologically uncomfortable to be that close to someone), and eyes skewed left.
This sinister visage of Blanco made her seem shifty. The polls reflected this and Jindal looked to wax his opponent easily.
This was the trend two weeks ago.
Today, we sit in Louisiana with a new Governor. Kathleen Blanco (D) beat out Bobby Jindal (R) in a close race.
Watching the newspapers two days previous to the election, I noticed a reverse in the trend of placing Jindal in the uncomfortable position, and Blanco in the left-to-right position. Also, Jindal was shown with people behind him with sour-puss faces and generally sad demeanor. The reverse of this are shots of Blanco looking like she's the life of a party.
So, in two days, the sheeple of Louisiana went from what looked like a secure win for Jindal to an upset by Blanco. Two days of Visual Psychological manipulation is all it took for the mass media to sway people into voting for Blanco.
This whole scenario reeks of a mass mind control test. I hope people will wake up to the the fact that visual Visual Psychological Operations are everywhere in our press. The Visual Psy-Ops are much less overt that a direct lie.
Cheny expounding the dangers of Iraq on Meet the Press, is pretty easy to spot. But a picture is much more subtle and beguiling. If McCain, is shot with a semi-fish eye lens to make his head appear large and bulbous and is waking trough an airport with people looking away from him the feeling we subconsciously get are negative. Who wants a big water headed president that people find disgusting.
The same paper on the same page, during the 2000 Repub Primaries, has a shot of GW as he looks his best in a straight on smiling shot with people around him looking like they won the lottery.
Let's all be aware that Visual Psy-Ops is not only used on TV, but is expertly deployed against us in printed press.
Sincerely,
Tony Castelluci
